Carnival Extravaganza

Salone Ridotto

Get ready for an enchanted experience at the Venice Carnival Extravaganza. Discover the elegance of exquisite costumes, intriguing masks, and parties with eternal charm. A unique event that will transport you to a world of pure beauty and joy.

The guest of honor at the masquerade ball will be Giacomo Casanova, who “returns” to his favorite venue, the Salone del Ridotto (now part of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal), the beating heart of sumptuous 18th-century Venetian carnivals, frequented by nobles, adventurers and gamblers of the time.

During the evening, some of the most daring and little-known events that Casanova himself recounted in his Memoirs will be staged.

Carnival Extravaganza Venice – Dinner in historical costume

The period costume orchestra will accompany the evening with live music, singing interludes, imaginative suggestions and dancing.

Period dances will make guests the stars of the party: under the guidance of the Ball Masters, you can learn the basic steps of the dances of the European courts of the 1700s and 1800s.
