Yacht charter in Venice, Costa Smeralda and the Amalfi Coast
A crewed yacht for a day on the lagoon, a week between Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo or a summer along the Amalfi Coast. We do not own yachts: we select them from licensed operators, check every detail and organise everything around the charter, from the transfer to the marina to the table ashore.

- Day charter
- A day on the water with captain and crew: the islands of the lagoon, a swim off the coast, lunch on board or in a harbour restaurant.
- Weekly charter
- Seven nights or more on a crewed yacht, sailing or motor, moving between anchorages and ports at your pace.
- Events on board
- Aperitifs, celebrations, proposals and company guests, including front-row moments such as the Regata Storica in Venice.

Costa Smeralda
Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, with their marinas and the clear water of the coast: the most requested charter area of the island, at its busiest in July and August.
Amalfi Coast and Capri
Positano, Amalfi, the Li Galli islets and Capri, with Sorrento and Naples as starting points: the coast seen as it was meant to be, from the sea.
Yacht charter: your questions
Does VLS own the yachts?
No. The yachts are operated by licensed charter companies that we select. VLS plans the trip, handles the booking and coordinates every service around it, as your single point of contact.
How much does a yacht charter cost?
It depends on the yacht, its size and crew, the area, the season and the length of the charter. We send a clear proposal with the conditions of each yacht before you book.
What is usually not included in a weekly charter?
In the Mediterranean, weekly charters usually ask for an advance on running costs such as fuel, food, drinks and port fees, settled at the end of the trip. Each proposal states exactly what is included.
When is the best time for a yacht charter in Italy?
From June to September. July and August are the busiest months in Costa Smeralda and on the Amalfi Coast, so it is worth booking several months ahead.
Can I charter a yacht for just one day in Venice?
Yes. Day charters with captain are the most common way to enjoy the lagoon and its islands, and can be combined with our water taxi and chauffeur transfers.
