How much is a private transfer from Venice to Cortina?
The price depends on the car, the number of passengers and luggage, and the time of day. Every quote is a fixed price confirmed before you book: send the form and we reply within a few hours.
How long does it take from Venice Airport to Cortina d'Ampezzo?
About 2 hours 15 minutes for roughly 165 km, door to door, traffic and weather permitting. From Venice city or Mestre the journey is similar; from Treviso Airport about 1 hour 50 minutes.
Are your cars equipped for snow?
Yes. In winter our Mercedes travel with winter tyres and snow equipment, driven by chauffeurs who know the mountain roads to Cortina and the Dolomite valleys.
Can I bring skis and snowboards?
Yes. Tell us in the request how many skis, boards and bags you have and we choose the right car, usually a Mercedes V Class.
What if my flight is late?
Tell us your flight number when you book. The first 10 minutes of waiting after landing are included; after that waiting is charged at 10 euro every 10 minutes.
Do you also drive from Milan or Innsbruck to Cortina?
Yes. We arrange transfers to Cortina and the Dolomites from Milan, Innsbruck, Treviso and any other starting point, and return journeys to Venice.
Is there a train from Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo?
No. Cortina has no railway station: the nearest is Calalzo di Cadore, about 35 km away, where you change to a bus or a car. A private transfer takes you from Venice Airport or the city straight to the door of your hotel, with your luggage and skis.
Can you collect us at our hotel in Venice and take us to Cortina?
Yes, in one booking. Our water taxi collects you at the hotel's water entrance with your luggage and takes you to Piazzale Roma, where your driver and Mercedes are waiting to continue to Cortina.
Do I need snow chains or winter tyres?
Not you: from 15 November to 15 April mountain roads require winter tyres or chains on board, and our cars are already equipped. Our drivers know the roads to Cortina and the Dolomite passes in every season.
Do you also drive from Cortina back to Venice or the airport?
Yes. We collect you at your hotel or chalet in Cortina or the Dolomite valleys and drive you to Venice Marco Polo Airport, Treviso Airport, Piazzale Roma or the cruise terminal, timed on your flight or ship. From Piazzale Roma our water taxi can take you on to your hotel in Venice.
Can you drive us between valleys in the Dolomites?
Yes. Transfers between Cortina, Alta Badia, Val Gardena and the other valleys, to ski areas, restaurants and huts, or a car with driver for the whole day.
Staying in the Dolomites?
We also arrange chalets and hotels, ski instructors, mountain guides and dinners in the huts, in winter and summer.
