Luxury travel across Italy, arranged from Venice
We are based in Venice and we know Italy the way a ground team does: how long it really takes to get from one place to the next, which hotel suits which traveller, when to go and when to avoid. From a weekend on Lake Como to three weeks from the Dolomites to Sicily, we design the journey, book hotels and villas, organise every transfer and stay your single point of contact.

Travelling in Italy with VLS: your questions
Can VLS organise a trip across several Italian regions?
Yes. We design multi-region journeys, book hotels and villas, organise every transfer between cities and coordinate experiences and concierge along the way, as a single point of contact.
How do you move guests between cities?
By private car with chauffeur, by first-class high-speed train with transfers at each station, or by private jet and helicopter with licensed partners for longer distances.
Do you use your own drivers outside Venice?
Our own Mercedes fleet starts from Venice and can reach any region. In other cities we work with selected local drivers and guides, always coordinated by our team.
What is the best time to travel in Italy?
Spring (April to June) and early autumn (September and October) suit most regions. The coast and the islands are at their best from May to September, the Dolomites in winter for skiing and in summer for hiking.
How far ahead should I book?
For summer on the coast, Lake Como and the islands, three to six months ahead gives the best choice of hotels and villas. City trips and the Dolomites can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice.
